The DCC is recruiting - we're looking for a developer to join the team in Edinburgh. Depending on the skills you bring, you could be working on support and development of existing online services such as DMPonline and CARDIO, assisting sites in our institutional engagement programme with deployment and customisation of research data management tools, or working on the deployment of new services such as a national data registry modelled on the work of Research Data Australia. Some of your time will also be spent on maintenance of the DCC's web site infrastructure (based on Drupal) and internal services such as our open-source customer relationship management system. Research data management is a growing concern at universities and research centres around the world, and working at the DCC will give you exposure to world-leading expertise in this area.

Although based in Edinburgh, you'll be working with staff from all 3 of the DCC partner sites. The details for this vacancy (reference 006206) can be seen at the online application page. It's a fixed-term full-time post. The closing date is December 12th 2012. If you would like to know more, informal enquiries can be made to Graham Pryor.
