"Ten years on: highlighting achievements, lessons learnt and continuing challenges for data curation"

The Digital Curation Centre was launched in March 2004, with an official opening of the DCC in Edinburgh in November 2004 and the first Digital Curation Conference held in Bath in September 2005.

IDCC15 marks a landmark in the history of the DCC and a celebration of 10 years of data curation.

Since the inaugural conference we have covered a range of curation issues from the simple question of "What is Data Curation" through to more complex issues of infrastructure, radical sharing and open data and how to encourage collaboration and create a curation community.

We have also visited a number of international cities including, Amsterdam, London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Washington, Chicago and most recently, San Francisco.

Next years conference will be returning to London and will be held from Monday 9 February to Thursday 12 February 2015 at 30 Euston Square, London, UK.

The main conference will take place over the first two days followed by 2 days of workshops and other related events.
