IDCC17 - Associates rate extended to Friday 3 February

We are now only 3 weeks away from the start of the 12th International Digital Curation Conference in Edinburgh.

The availability of the current Associates registration fee of £380 has been extended until Friday 3 February, after that the registration fee for the conference will be £490 for all delegates.

The conference fee covers attendance at the conference on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 February and related events including the Pre-Conference Drinks Reception on the evening of Monday 20 February in the Playfair Library and the Conference Dinner on Tuesday 21 February in the Caves. For further information about these events and making the most of your time in Edinburgh check our Social Events page.

The workshops will run on Monday 20 and Thursday 23 February. Many of the workshops are already fully booked, but there are still a few places remaining, so if you haven't registered yet we urge you to do so as soon as possible. Full details can be found on the Workshops page.

Counting sheep and other amazing creatures

The University of Glasgow is offering a fully-funded 4 year PhD studentship on managing data related to animal disease outbreaks. This is supported by the Lord Kelvin Adam Smith (LKAS) programme and is suited to those with an interest in digital preservation, data management and epidemiology.
