Digital Curation Webinars

The DCC runs a series of free, online training sessions covering a wide range of curation-related topics. These brief sessions will last for one hour and will provide participants with an introduction to some of the current issues, some examples of emerging good practice, and an overview of tools and approaches.

The webinars will run on the second Thursday of each month from 12:00-13:00. The sessions will be run using Google+ Hangouts* but participants do not need to have a Google account to take part. Please register for each session before 11:00 on the day of the session so that we can provide you with links to the slides following the session.

Future topics will be announced as they are confirmed. If you have an idea for a webinar or would like to suggest a topic, please get in touch.

* Google+ is Google's version of "FaceBook." When you are logged into your Google g-mail account, simply click the + button on the top left of your g-mail, and then you will see your Google+ account. You automatically have a Google+ account if you have a Google g-mail address whether you knew it or not, and you will want to set up your G+ profile moving forward. When you broadcast your Webinars a live stream of that broadcast will appear on both your Google+ and YouTube accounts associated with that Google+ account.
