IDCC15 - Workshop registration open

Registration and details of the workshop programme are now available.

The workshops will take place at 30 Euston Square on Wednesday 11 February and Thursday 12 February, directly following on from the main conference.

The workshops will cover a range of subjects including policy training, tools and services:-

  • Automated capture of the environment in a sheer curation context
  • Data Carpentry: using APIs to access life science data available on the web
  • Comparing Notes: Training Librarians for Research Data Management and Open Science Support
  • Research at Risk: how can research data management become business as usual for UK universities?
  • Getting Started with Islandora
  • Research Data Spring: tools and services for managing research data

There will also be a Hackathon which will be a hands-on event organised for everyone who wants to have a better understanding of how to explore, investigate, analyse and visualise large scale text and image datasets.

The majority of the workshops are free of charge.
