Objectives

TNA preserves key public records for England, Wales and the UK, helps the public sector manage their information more effectively and makes the information available to relevant persons. Their objectives are to: lead and transform information management; guarantee the survival of today\\\'s information for tomorrow and to bring history to life for everyone.

Areas of Activity

TNA sets standards and guidance for information management; manages crown copyright for the UK Government; published UK legislation; promotes the reuse of public sector information; preserves and protects UK public records; helps researchers explore their collections and supports the wider archive sector.

Membership

TNA is not a membership organisation.
