Tools of the Trade training
Each of these half-day events will provide participants with an introduction to a particular tool and the underlying methodology. A key goal for these events will be to show how the tools may be used as a means of identifying requirements, planning, and/or benchmarking data management activity and improvement over time.
The events will also feature practical exercises and examples of how the tools have been used in a real-life setting.
Current courses cover DCC tools including
- Collaborative Assessment of Research Data Infrastrucutre and Objectives (CARDIO)
- DMP Online toolkit
- Data Asset Framework (DAF)
- Digital Audit Method Based on Risk Assessment (DRAMBORA)
We also work with other tool providers such as the University of Oxford Computing Services and University of London Computing Centre (ULCC) to run courses on external tools like VIDaaS (Virtual Infrastructure with Database as a Service) and Assessing Institutional Digital Assets (AIDA).
If you are interested in working with us to develop a Tools of the Trade course please get in touch.
