Train the Trainer
In an effort to build capacity and to improve the sustainability of current and emerging curation training materials, the DCC seeks to engage in Train the Trainer activity with other training providers.
This will be a two-way activity – the DCC will share its knowledge and resources with those who wish to make use of our materials and seek to learn about new tools and resources that may be embedded into our DCC training.
Our generic DC 101 and DC 101 Lite training materials are available to reuse as the basis for disciplinary or institutional-specific training.
Others have also provided training materials that can be repurposed:
- The JISC Incremental and Sudamih projects have produced useful data management training resources.
- Disciplinary training materials have been developed for postgraduates through the JISC RDMTrain projects.
- The UK Data Archive also provides excellent training materials on data management and sharing
The outputs of these projects have been posted to JORUM.
If you've got tools and resources that you'd like us to embed into our DCC training, please contact us.
