DCC Roadshow Northeast England

#dccNortheast

23-24 April 2012 |

The 10th DCC regional roadshow will take place on 23rd and 24th April at the Darwin Suite, 3rd Floor Bioscience Centre, Times Square, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4EP(*).

Location map

The roadshow is being co-organised with Professor Julie Mcleod, Northumbria University School of Computing, Engineering, and Information Sciences.

  • Day 1 is a general introduction. DCC will provide an overview of the research data management landscape, and the support on offer to help develop capabilities in this area. Experiences will be shared through case studies from institutions in the Northeast to help build a community of data management expertise.
  • Day 2 is a strategic training day of interest to anyone planning research data management services for their institution or research faculty/department. The workshop sessions each combine a short practical introduction with exercises to help you, whether you are considering the scope of these services or already initiating change.
(* Satnav users: Please note that NE4 7AD will take you to Times Square Car Park)
