Renee Miller presented "From Data Integration to Data Sharing" as part of the Scottish Database Interest Group [external] seminar season at The School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, Appleton Tower 2nd floor seminar room (2.02). The DCC was a co-sponsor of this event.
We held our inaugural DCC Information Day aimed at representatives of Computing, Information and Library Services and Science Faculties at Centre Point, London from 12.00pm - 3.00pm. This was the first in a series of meetings across the UK.
This event offered many people an opportunity to meet and talk with DCC representatives. The meeting's agenda incorporated a brief presentation detailing the role of the DCC and a discussion session where attendees could describe their own digital curation efforts, any concerns they had and any expectations they had of the DCC.
