In conjunction with the US National Science Foundation (NSF) [external], the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) [external], and the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) [external] we held our 3rd International Digital Curation Conference, entitled "Curating our Digital Scientific Heritage: a Global Collaborative Challenge," which focused on emerging strategy, policy implementation, leading-edge research and practitioner experience, and comprised a mix of peer-reviewed papers, invited presentations and international keynote speakers.

This event followed on from the Fall 2007 CNI Task Force Meeting [external] on 10-11 December 2007 at the same venue, the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel [external]

The Programme Committee was headed up by:

  • Dr. Liz Lyon, DCC Associate Director (Community Development).
    Note:
Liz replaces Chris Rusbridge, our DCC Director, as he is unable to attend the conference.
  • Sayeed Choudhury, Associate Dean of Libraries and Hodson Director of the Digital Research and Curation Center at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA
