Because good research needs good data

11th International Digital Curation Conference

Visible data, invisible infrastructure

22-25 February 2016 |

**Please give us your feedback on IDCC16**

Research data management, and digital curation generally, is becoming a mainstream academic activity. Universities and research institutions are ramping up support and infrastructural provision for it. Funding bodies are strengthening their requirements for it. Visionary researchers and practitioners are tackling the remaining barriers.

The success of this transition might be measured in two ways. First, is data recognised as a valuable scholarly output, enjoying the same visibility and prestige afforded to journal papers? Second, is the digital curation infrastructure so well embedded and supported that everyone can use it without a second thought?

The 11th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC16) will be held in Amsterdam at the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre.

The Pre-Conference Drinks Reception will be held on the evening of Monday 22 February 2016 at the Eye Film Institute which is on the northern bank of the IJ harbour in Amsterdam.

There will be a programme of workshops on Monday 22 February and Thursday 25 February and the main conference will run from Tuesday 23 to Wednesday 24 February 2016.

Please note that registration for the conference and the workshops are separate.
