DCC and the University of Liverpool Library Information Day: Institutional Repositories
Overview
In conjunction with the University of Liverpool, we held an Information Day on Institutional Repositories at the Harold Cohen Library of the University of Liverpool.
At this information day we looked at Institutional Repositories, the process of auditing and certifying them and the role that they can play in curating there data over the long-term. The discussion covered audit and certification, workflow, metadata, authenticity and other best practice issues. We provided guidance on a range of Institutional Repository tools and resources; in addition there was an overview of digital curation and digital preservation along with information about the DCC.
