The DCC supported Korea Institute for Science and Technology Information KISTI, Korea’s representative science and technology content management agency, with transforming their existing content workflows into a digital curation process and assisting with first implementation steps. DCC’s digital curation model was adapted and used as a basis for developing a KISTI specific model. This model has clarified KISTI's processes and connected them together, to build a holistic workflow which includes staff from different departments.

DCC staff travelled to KISTI offices in Daejeon in June 2019 and held a two-day workshop for KISTI staff involved in implementing the new workflows. Focus was on training, working towards consensus on implementation across different departments and broader awareness raising around similar processes that have been implemented internationally with similar agencies.
