15-16 April 2011 |

Free online webcast

The Sage Bionetworks Commons Congress brings together research and industry leaders, policy and IT experts, patient advocates, foundations and governments to work on programs and platforms that will create a disruptive transition in data sharing and public engagement.

Sage Bionetworks and Fora.tv are offering a free live webcast of the Congress platform sessions allowing anyone to attend the virtual conference on line.

An updated Agenda has been posted on the Congress website.

The DCC's Associate Director, Liz Lyon, will be speaking at the conference about the SageCite and Patients Participate! projects.

The SageCite project is an associated project of the DCC, responsible for developing and testing a Citation Framework linking data, methods and publications.

Patients Participate! is a JISC-funded project that will investigate the potential of crowd-sourced "lay summaries", derived from UK PubMed Central content, to enable the citizen-patient to better understand research.

Please join for the exciting presentations and discussions as well as the opportunity to contribute to Congress outcomes.
