Because good research needs good data

Repository Fringe 2018

2008-2018: a celebration

02-03 July 2018 |

We are pleased to announce that Repository Fringe 2018 will take place on Monday 2 & Tuesday 3 July at the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Repo Fringe is a conference for repository managers and others interested in research data and publication repositories to come together to discuss emerging issues and the latest policy and technological advances. Participation is a key element - the event is designed to encourage all attendees to share their repository experiences and expertise.

Join us in celebrating the achievements that have been made over the last decade as we progress to an open world of scholarship – open access, open repositories, open data, open educational resources, open science.

If you have any ideas/themes/subjects/projects that you would like to see discussed, send us your thoughts at and we will try and build these into the programme.

You can access previous years presentations and notes in our repository at the following link
