2006 Arts and Media Informatics Lecture: Ted Nelson on Preserving Deep Civilization

Joy Davidson | 16 May 2006

Ted Nelson, a charismatic prophet who invented the concepts of hypertext and hypermedia, will give the 2006 Arts and Media Informatics Lecture on 22 May 2006. His visionary ideas also gave us hyperlinking, a lesser version of which powers the World Wide Web. We, the DCC, and HATII (Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute) are sponsoring this event.
