International Journal of Digital Curation, Volume 6, Issue 1

The International Journal of Digital Curation Volume 6, Issue 1 is now available. It contains 16 peer-reviewed papers and 5 general articles, drawn from among those presented at the 6th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) and both the 2009 and 2010 International Conferences on Preservation of Digital Objects (iPres). As the Chief Editor Kevin Ashley remarks in the Editorial, their subject matter demonstrates how digital curation is rapidly maturing as a field. Digital Curation is also a field that supports lively debate: readers are encouraged to record their thoughts on these papers and articles and send them in for possible publication as Letters to the Editor in Issue 2.
