City University London: new Masters course in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Information
The Department of Information Science at City University London is pleased
to announce the start of a new Masters course in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Information (HaPI), from October 2006.
The course replaces our current MSc in Pharmaceutical Information
Management. It follows on from the previous course in providing coverage
of pharmaceutical information issues, but covers a wider context of
healthcare information and informatics.
The course may be followed full-time (requiring 2 days a week termtime
attendance over one year), part-time (one day a week over two years), or
in flexible mode (a blend of e-learning and face-to-face contact over one
or two years).
A PG Certificate may be gained after the equivalent of one year's
part-time study, a PG Diploma after the equivalent of one year's
full-time study, and a Masters qualification after additionally completing a dissertation project.
The course is part of City Postgraduate Information Studies Scheme. Topics
