John Faundeen, Archivist, U.S. Geological Survey, at the Center for Earth Resources Observation and Science, will talk about the reasons for appraising data as well as a review process developed for scientific records by his centre at 3.00pm on 17 July 2007 in Room 101 of the Charles Wilson Building, University of Glasgow.
