Salary: Grade 8: 33,779 - 40,335 pounds (one year contract in the first
instance)

Do you have a good understanding of the how digital repositories are being deployed within universities, and what benefits they bring for research?
Are you experienced in talking to academic users about what services they might want from a digital repository? And are you an excellent communicator, able to write for, or present to, senior managers, researchers and technical support staff alike?

Oxford University wishes to appoint a self-motivated and highly organised individual to scope the organisational and technical requirements for digital repository services to support the curation of research data. An understanding of technical architectures to support distributed repository development would be highly desirable. This is a high profile post which will bring you into contact with a diverse range of stakeholders both within the University and nationally. You will be based within the Oxford e-Research Centre and report to senior staff within the library and computing services.
