Emulation as a Digital Preservation Strategy

The Koninklijke Bibliotheek (National library of the Netherlands) [external] and the Nationaal Archief of the Netherlands [external] have contracted Tessella Support Services plc [external], a company with over 20 years of proven expertise in the area of reliable and authentic long-term preservation of electronic records, both for government and scientific organizations, to design and develop an open source modular emulator for digital preservation.
