EU Moves Towards Establishment of Open Source Repository

The European Commission has selected a consortium to create and manage the Open Source Observatory and Repository (OSOR). The Repository will include course and object code, as well as information on the use of licenses and applications. The Repository and observatory should be operational by late 2007.
