European Infrastructure for Repositories of Scientific Information

Digital repositories provide the possibility for exchanging and sharing massive quantities of information and knowledge. There is an opportunity to build in Europe a strong base of scientific and educational digital repositories as part of the European Research Infrastructure. The European Commission is organising this workshop to discuss the development of Digital Repositories under the perspective of the e-Infrastructure and to prepare the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Community for research, technological development and demonstration activities
