JISC Grant Funding 10/09: VRE Rapid Innovation (VRERI) Grants

The VRE Programme management is happy to announce a new round of funding for smaller Rapid Innovation projects, focussing on short term development of tools and applications related to the VRE field. There will be £600,000 available for around 8-15 projects of £20,000-£75,000 each. The emphasis of these projects will be to solve some actual itches that exist in academia when it comes to collaboration and sharing of resources. So projects will be judged on the actual issue they will scratch as well as the actual users they are helping.
