MRC Data Sharing Initiative

The MRC's Council recently committed in the region of £1 million over the next two years to develop a Forward Strategy to ensure that data are properly preserved for sharing and informed use beyond the originating research teams. They are now looking to work closely with a team, consortium or organisation and achieve a number of goals that includes turning the strategy into a fully-costed business plan, to be considered by the MRC's Council as a basis for a further three to five years funding.
