National Archives of Australia Releases New Version of Xena Preservation Software

The National Archives of Australia [external] has announced the release of a new version of their digital preservation software, Xena 3.0 Lite. Xena - XML Electronic Normalising of Archives - is now principally a framework designed to interoperate with other preservation workflows as a component doing the 'heavy lifting' work of conversion to openly documented formats.
