NEH Request for Proposals

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) [external] is soliciting proposals from institutions to participate in the next phase of the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP) [external], which aims to create a national, digital and free resource of historically significant newspapers from all the states and U.S. territories published between 1836 and 1922. Deadline for submissions: 1 November 2006.
