New Communication from the EC: Access, Dissemination and Preservation of Scientific Information in the Digital Age

The European Commission last week released a new communication on 'Scientific Information in the Digital Age: Access, Dissemination and Preservation'. This Communication signals the importance and launching of a policy process on access to and dissemination of scientific information, and strategies for the preservation of scientific information across the European Union. To this end, it announced a series of measures at a European level and points to the need for a continuing policy debate.
