NHS Connecting For Health and SNOMED Announce Proposal to Create International Standards Development Organization

Countries Worldwide will have an Opportunity for a Leading Role in the Ownership of SNOMED CT. International, a Division of The NHS Connecting for Health and SNOMED College of American Pathologists (CAP), have announced a proposal to establish an International Standards Development Organization (SDO) to offer countries the opportunity to take a leading role in the development, ownership and maintenance of SNOMED Clinical Terms (SNOMED CT).
