Wellcome Trust Wins First SPARC Europe Award

As part of the Third Nordic Conference on Scholarly Communication: Beyond Declarations - The Changing Landscape of Scholarly Communication [external] held in Lund, Sweden, on 24-25 April 2006 the Wellcome Trust was presented with the first SPARC (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition) Europe Award for Outstanding Achievements in Scholarly Communications.
