The DCC is pleased to announce that the Digital Curation Manual instalment on metadata is now available for download. Authored by DCC Research Officer Michael Day, this instalment aims to introduce readers to the topic of metadata and its relevance to digital stewardship and curation.

This instalment will serve as an umbrella for future sub-instalments on specific metadata initiatives including preservation metadata, archival metadata, and learning object metadata.
