Integration of PADI Metadata in the nestor Subject Gateway

Based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Library of
Australia <http://www.nla.gov.au/> and the Goettingen State and University
Library (SUB) <http://www.sub.uni-goettingen.de/> which was signed last
year, the nestor <http://nestor.sub.uni-goettingen.de/nestor_on/?lang=en> subject gateway integrated the metadata of the PADI <http://www.nla.gov.au/padi>
subject gateway. The users can decide wether they want to search the 473 nestor database entries or the 2032 entries of both databases. The nestor entries are bilingual (English - German), the PADI entries are in English. The PADI database is focussed on international, Anglo-American resources and the nestor database concentrates on resources from the German-speaking countries. It is intended that later on the nestor metadata will be integrated in the PADI database.
