The continuation of this successful research project has created an opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team. We require the services of a self-motivated, creative thinker with the capability to deliver a range of work packages on time and within budget.
LIFE2 will bring together the worlds of digital preservation, cost modelling and long-term projections of how technology will impact on library collections. Integrating that information with our current knowledge of traditional preservation and library storage
will add to the challenge. As Project
Manager, you will bring with you the
capacity to grasp these concepts and fit
them to the existing LIFE methodology.
We are looking for the right individual to
build on our original findings and fulfil the
aspirations of LIFE2 in order to develop new ideas and practical solutions which will add to our existing knowledge in the field of digital preservation research.
If you enjoy the relationship management
involved with multi-partner collaborative
projects and if you are an effortless
communicator who can make the most
challenging of technical subjects digestible to a wider audience, then we would like to hear from you. An understanding of library, information or computer science would also give you a distinct advantage.
