Firms Collaborate to Create "Medical Internet"

A "medical internet" is being created which will give millions of workers the chance to pool their medical records in a single secure location. The system is the brainchild of five US companies who hope to eliminate the incidence of mistakes being made during healthcare as a result of inadequate records.
