Tessella Announces 1.3 Million CHF Contract to Deliver Digital Archive Solution

Tessella has announced a 1.3 million CHF contract award to deliver a Digital Archive solution enabling the long-term preservation and management of the digital records of the Schweizerisches Bundesarchiv (Swiss Federal Archive). The solution will be based on the tried and tested Safety Deposit Box (SDB), developed by Tessella in partnership with The National Archives of the UK (TNA), designed to help memory institutions (including libraries and archives) face the problems posed by preserving material stored in digital formats.
