Legal Environment of Digital Curation

This one-day workshop provided a useful overview of legal considerations for non-legal professionals who work with data. The day comprised talks by experts in the following areas:

  • Intellectual property rights and licensing
  • Data protection, freedom of information and privacy
  • Data as evidence

These talks were followed by group discussion on each of these areas in the afternoon.

Registration fees were £30 for DCC Associates Network members and £60 for non-members.
