DAF provides organisations with the means to identify, locate, describe and assess the management of research data assets.
DAF combines a set of methods with an online tool to enable data auditors to gather this information. DAF aims to help ensure research data produced in UK Higher Education Institutions is preserved and remains accessible in the long term. For details see the Data Audit Framework website.
DRAMBORA Interactive Online provides a method for self-assessment of digital curation practices and performance by repositories. It facilitates internal audit by providing repository administrators with a means to assess their capabilities and identify their weaknesses.
DRAMBORA has been used by a wide range of organisations. Building on this experience the DCC and DPE have developed an interactive online version of the tool. For details see the DRAMBORA Interactive website.
Venue
The launch of both tools took place in the Lecture Hall at the British Academy (10 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AH).
