DCC Information Day: University of Exeter
27 March 2007 |
This event raised awareness of digital curation issues and highlighted the latest results of the DCC's work. Key digital curation issues were introduced alongside best practice advice for providing long-term access to digital resources. Vital to the long-term access to digital resources is continued research and development of tools and services that the DCC undertakes — information about this work was provided. Projects local to Exeter was also discussed, allowing challenges and solutions to be shared.
By providing this forum it was hoped that attendees benefited from contact with others locally and nationally involved with digital curation.
This event was aimed at representatives from local institutions, archivists, software developers and people from commercial and government organisations with an interest in digital curation, digital preservation and interested in sharing and learning more about these issues.
