Because good research needs good data

DCC/Edinburgh e-Science Collaborative Workshop

12 June 2008 |

The aim of this event is to help us learn more about the e-Science perspective on data curation, as well as to give e-Science practitioners an opportunity to influence both the ongoing and future work of the DCC. With an emphasis on data sharing, this workshop - which is by invitation only - will focus on real examples of data curation challenges and solutions from within the e-Science community, and consist of presentations, demonstrations and discussion. The programme is aimed at those currently involved in aspects of data management (including data collection), data accessibility and long-term data curation. It is expected to be of interest to scientists involved in e-Science research projects as well as those engaged in the process of digital data management.
