Because good research needs good data

I2S2 pre-RDMF workshop

Data infrastructure challenges: working across scale, disciplinary and institutional boundaries

05 May 2011 |

This half day workshop on 5th May, which precedes the sixth Research Data Management Forum (RDMF) on planning for research data management, commencing later that afternoon, will explore research data management challenges in a diverse range of contexts. Specifically, it will explore data integration and interoperability across differing degrees of scale, data flows between disciplines and data exchange across and within institutional boundaries.

The workshop will be of relevance to a broad spectrum of the research data community, from research scientists and the managers of large-scale facilities to staff from computing services and the funding agencies.

It will be possible to register either for the workshop, the RDMF or both events.
