DMPonline sessions: which topics next?

For those who did not join us previously, DMPonline demo sessions are 1-hour online sessions, normally run once a month for DMPonline admin users where we go through one specific DMPonline feature, demo it and discuss its functionality. The community can ask us questions during this session to ensure you understand the functionality to its fullest. We also tend to present features that are related to the current functionality and discuss possibilities how to improve the specific functionality and are also open for feedback how the feature could be improved for your usage.  

We have now been running DMPonline demo sessions for 6 months and so far successfully delivered 3 sessions (due to Christmas break, and the 10 years of DMPonline celebration week in November).  

We based the selection of the first four sessions around the feedback you gave us over the summer. So far we scheduled four sessions  on topics that had the biggest number of votes from our initial survey, listed below:  

  1. Providing feedback – video recording: DMPonline demo session - Reviewing Feedback 15 September 2020 & blog post.  
  2. Conditional questions – video recording: DMPonline demo session - Conditional Question 27 October 2020 
  3. Administrator privileges – video recording: DMPonline demo session - Administrator privileges 28 January 2021 
  4. Review usage (usage dashboard) - planned for 24th February 2021.  

Also, in a case you did not know we are putting all recordings into the following playlist: DMPonline demo sessions. If there are any further thoughts you would like to share with us about how to improve these sessions please get in touch with us at dmponline@dcc.ac.uk  

Since it will be six months of running DMPonline demo sessions we want to revisit your preferences as you now might have a better understanding how these run. You might now know better what you would like to get out of these sessions and we want to ensure that we are meeting your needs. We are currently running survey where we are asking you about what would you like us to focus on in the following few months and it will only take 30 seconds of your time, take part here. We will present the findings in the middle of March, so watch out the dcc blog posts, and DMPonline Twitter  for the results!
