In conjunction with the University of Liverpool, we held an Information Day on Institutional Repositories at the Harold Cohen Library of the University of Liverpool.
This event was hosted jointly by the University of Nottingham, and although it was aimed primarily at representatives from local institutions, archivists, software developers and people from commercial organisations with an interest in digital curation, digital preservation and a passion to learn more about our work also attended.
This event provided an opportunity to learn about the latest issues in digital curation and the work of the DCC.
This event focussed on developing a management structure to effectively curate archaeological data from the individual through to the organisation. The intended audience included anyone who generates or intends to generate digital archaeological data.
This event was held in conjunction with JISC Legal and took place following the close of the JISC Legal Conference. Although this event was primarily aimed at participants of the JISC Legal event, representatives from local institutions, as well as archivists, software developers and people from commercial organisations with an interest in digital preservation and a passion to learn more about our work also attended.
