Dr Liz Lyon, Associate Director (Outreach), gave a presentation at the Digital Library developments supporting eResearch workshop that took place at the British Library.
Tasos Kementsietsidis presented "Data Sharing and Querying for Peer-to-Peer Data Management Systems" as part of the Scottish Database Interest Group [external] seminar season at The School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. The DCC was a co-sponsor of this event.
Seamus Ross gave a Public Lecture on the DCC entitled "New Organisational Structures Responding to New Challenges: The Digital Curation Centre in the UK" at the Schweizerisches Bundesarchiv.
David Giaretta presented a paper, "The UK Digital Curation Centre," at PV-2004, the second Symposium about Ensuring the Long-Term Preservation and Adding Value to the Scientific and Technical Data hosted by the European Space Agency at its ESRIN centre.
As the first in the Digital Curation Centre's Visitor Programme, Michael Lesk, Rutgers University, presented "Online Data and Scientific Progress: Content in Cyberinfrastructure".
