An unusual lab lunch was arranged at 1.00pm when visiting artists from Antwerp - Kris Delacourt, Nico Dockx, and Jan Mast, who are part of the Studiolabs collaboration with the Edinburgh College of Art - gave a presentation. They are doing some interesting things, both with archives for artists, and with turning archive-oriented activities into videoart installations.
Mags McGinley from the Digital Curation Centre/AHRC Research Centre for Studies in Intellectual Property and Technology Law presented a free talk on Digital Curation: The Legal Environment at 4.00pm as part of the Scottish Database Interest Group [external] seminar season at The School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, Appleton Tower 2nd floor seminar room (2.02).
