Saying goodbye to any member of DCC staff is always poignant even as we wish them well in their new role. But it is with particular sadness that I announce the forthcoming departure of Sarah Jones, the DCC's Associate Director at Glasgow, who has been a mainstay of our work since she joined HATII in 2006. Sarah will be leaving us at the end of June to take up a new role at GÉANT as their EOSC Engagement Manager on July 1st 2020.
The DCC and Royal College of Art are hosting a virtual RDMF event on the 3rd of June 2020. We have a number of excellent speakers lined up and we will use the best online tools to make an engaging and informative event about the management of Arts Data.
We’ll be running an unconference at IDCC again this year and have over 75 people registered for the event. Some of you have definitely been to an unconference before, but for others it is bound to be a new experience. This blog post provides an introduction on what to expect and how to get the most out of it.
