When I returned from Australia in late March and handed in my notice, three months sounded so long away. It has passed insanely quickly in a blur of zoom calls, online events and endless email. Now is my final few days with the DCC team. This time next week, I’ll be in Amsterdam gearing up to start a new role with GEANT.

This blog focuses on ethical strategies and sensibilities that comprise an ethical compass  for working with research data archived in research repositories that have in place gold standard protocols for deposit and access.

As with so many meetings and conferences, COVID19 cancelled our plans for running the RDMF20 in London in April. As the topic of management and sharing of Arts data had created interest already, we decided to move the forum online. This was our first DCC full online event and after a few weeks have passed, we can share some of our reflections on organizing and running a fully virtual RDMF.

We launched DMPonline drop-in sessions to provide a space for all DMPonline users to ask us questions, learn about new features and meet fellow subscribers.
