Introduction to Research Data Management

Funding bodies increasingly require evidence of appropriate provisions for data management and curation in new grant funding applications. This half-day workshop provides an introduction to the research data management landscape and will look at data sharing and data management planning in more detail.
By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- understand funders' requirements for data management and sharing
- understand issues that should be considered when sharing data
- understand what a data management plan is and how to go about completing one
