"As well as being a useful tool for us and researchers, DMPonline connects us to a supportive RDM community. I recently attended an RDM 'unconference' organised by DCC where I met with a number of colleagues to discuss issues as varied as using tools to automate data gathering, the problems of storing sensitive data, and the creation of an EU wide data management infrastructure."
One of our brand new features which we deployed to DMPonline in April 2020 is the ability to create conditional questions. This feature was requested via our Amsterdam user group meeting in 2019 and we did further consultation and demos at the London user group before rollout. Read more about it in the blog.
We choose an enhanced subscription to give us a the opportunity to adapt the look-and-feel, and also have a customized URL (dmp.umu.se,) of the interface so it will feel a bit more at home/familiar for the UmU researchers. During the spring (2019) the library also was charged with the task, from the university management, of making a proposal for a local Umeå university DMP template. The template is generally applicable to research projects at UmU, which produce, collect or process research data in some form.
As part of the OpenAIRE-Advance project, the DCC has put together an inforgraphic for researchers on the costs of managing and sharing data.
