The Swiss National Library is delighted to announce that the 13th International Conference on Digital Preservation (iPRES) will take place in Bern from October 3–6, 2016.
Good data management has increasingly become an expected element of high quality research. Funding body mandates are reflecting this change and they now place a greater emphasis on providing evidence of appropriate provision for data management and curation in grant applications.
This half-day workshop will provide an introduction to the research data management landscape and will look at data sharing and data management planning in greater detail. The agenda will include a mixture of presentations and workshops, allowing opportunities for questions and discussion.
Open Knowledge - Open Arts is an informal workshop about open data, open source and cultural heritage. The event will take place at the University of Catania.
An Archeological Tour will be offered to the workshop participants on Saturday 27 February.
